Is this a good time to travel China? I took a taxi last week and this taxi driver who is an elderly uncle said it’s the right time to travel to China now because it’s flight and tour package it very cheap. However, visas to China will cost more from Dec 16 this year as they had implemented CVASC.

CVASC (Chinese Visa Application Service Centre)

The demand for Chinese visas has grown rapidly in recent years. In order to provide better services for visa applicants, the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, following the success of visa centres of other countries, has decided to introduce the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre (CVASC). CVASC is responsible for receiving visa applications of ordinary passport holders for visiting mainland China, collecting visa fees on behalf of the Chinese Embassy and returning processed visa applications.
