This is an example of a step by step guide to hide your folder directory listing which looks kinda ugly that’s why  i want to hide my folder which i’ve created called Forms for eg:

http://www.abc.com/forms

It’s very easy to hide this forder (form), you need to create a .htaccess file

Step 1: Open a notepad

Step 2: type in this

Options -Indexes

Step 3: Save your notepad as

.htaccess

(it must have a (dot) infront, at the back no .txt, save as type choose  “All Types”)

Step 4: Put into your folder “form”

And you will have this
