The most authentic Indian vegetarian restaurant in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is currently Sangeetha Vegetarian Restaurant. I’ve blog about Annalakshimi, another Indian vegetarian restaurant and i voted higher ranking for Sangeetha because of it’s original authentic indian taste. They have 2 branches, one in Lebuh Ampang (near Masjid Jamek LRT Station) and another one inside Palaca Hotel Plaza at Jalan Masjid India.
Both outlet serve the same dishes, but i still prefer Palace Hotel Plaza Sangeetha branch, maybe the portion is slightly bigger and their coffee is much more delicious?

Coffee (Palaca Hotel Plaza) 9/10
Payasam 9/10
Muruku 9/10
Sangeetha Special Punjabi Thali (it’s a huge portion and you can even share with a friend!)
Other delicious food is Sangeetha muruku

Hello there, I came across your blog, and couldn’t resist the temptation to comment on my own experience at this place.
I was there around lunch on 9th November with a buddy. I found the food OK, though a tad overpriced. Its almost as if restaurants these days fix their prices according to what they think they can get away with. No matter; willing buyer, willing seller, right?
The weird part was that when I asked for orange + carrot juice, the worthy of a waiter gave me a nonplussed look, and told me “cannot”. Why? I asked, since both items were available on the menu. Yes, but the mixture of carrot + orange was not on the menu, therefore, no can do, he said. So, the poor confused Malaysian part of me asked for something else. Didn’t have the energy or the inclination to call the manager and offer him a free treatise on Customer Service 101.
Actually, took the trouble of seeking out their website, but all it had was a bunch of pretty pictures, and flat links. So I guess I have to thank you for presenting me with an avenue to air my disdain.
Will I return? You needn’t even ask.
